Some New York golf simulators are bars with golf in them, some are golf with no bar at all, and a few let you bring your own. Here is what each venue says on its own site.
A full bar
- Five Iron Golf: its locations describe "a full-service bar", with cocktails and local beer on tap. Grand Central is 2 minutes from the 4, 5, 6 and 7.
- iGolf By Space, Koreatown: a marble bar pouring "everything from local drafts to strawberry soju", and a full kitchen. Open until 2am on Friday and Saturday.
- Golfzon Social, Downtown Brooklyn: a full-service, lounge-style room, walk-ins welcome, with $5 domestic drafts. A minute from Hoyt St.
- Konnectgolf, Midtown: a spacious bar and lounge beside its simulators.
- The Mulligans Golf Club, Long Island City: a full bar with cocktails, zero-proof options and rotating drafts, 5 minutes from 33 St-Rawson St on the 7.
- Birdie's Clubhouse, Williamsburg: a full menu from shareable plates to dessert. All ages are welcome, but it is 21 and over after 10pm, and outside food is not allowed.
Bring your own
- Clubhouse, Hudson Square: outside food and drink are welcome, and there is no age requirement. Open 24 hours.
- GolfCave, Staten Island: "BYOF & drink" at all its locations.
- Play Thru Golf, Prospect Heights: you can bring your own food and drink; it asks only that you respect the space.
Golf only
Ready Golf Club in the East Village says it plainly: "Not a bar. Not a restuarant. Just golf." It is open 24/7, which is its point.
Policies change. If the bar or a bottle of your own matters to the plan, check the venue's page before you go.
