Golf at Grand Central, two places at one stop

Get off at Grand Central and you are two minutes from two ways to hit a ball: a bank of simulators, and a bar built around them.

Grand Central is the best-connected golf stop in the city. The 4, 5, 6, 7 and S all reach it, and two places we list are two minutes from the platform.

Five Iron Golf, Grand Central

At least 15 bays, the most of any Five Iron we list. An hour is $90 on weekday evenings, $100 from Friday to Sunday evening, and $29 from 9pm Monday to Thursday. The rate is per bay, for up to six. It is the one to know if you want time in a bay rather than a night out.

T-Squared Social

On 42nd Street, a bar built around its simulators. It opens at 4pm on weekdays and noon at weekends, and books weekend simulator hours at $110 a party for up to eight.

Getting there

Grand Central-42 St puts you two minutes from both. From the west side, the S shuttle from Times Square is one stop.

Which to pick

If you want to practise, the bays. If you want to bring people who do not play, the social one. We have not been inside either yet, so that is the difference in what they sell, not a verdict.
